I paint from the gut—intuitive, layered, and unapologetically abstract. My work lives in the space between memory and emotion, where color and texture collide to tell stories I didn’t know I needed to tell.
After decades teaching art to kids—whose fearless creativity taught me more than any textbook—I left the structure behind to explore the wild terrain of personal expression. My influences are a mix of rebels and visionaries: Klee, Kandinsky, O’Keeffe, Picasso. Like them, I chase freedom on the canvas.
No plan, no map—just instinct. Each piece is a dive into the unknown, and I let the process surprise me. It’s messy. It’s honest. And it heals.
